After decades of hand-copying parts from masterfully transcribed scores and acquiring hard-to-find arrangements for the libraries of his schools, Hal Sherman has decided to make these charts available for loan to high schools and colleges in the state of Washington. With hundreds of out-of-print and never published charts, Hal Sherman's collection is filled with professional level charts by dozens of notable artists, from The Airmen of Note to Quincy Jones, the Clarke/Boland Band to Peter Herbozheimer, from Woody Herman to Buddy Rich. The collection also includes notable charts performed by vocalists Sarah Vaughan, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis, Jr. and many more.
